The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk reported on a number of decisions adopted by the Parliament.
Resolutions:
9626 — Statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the priority directions of state policy in the field of de-occupation, reintegration and restoration of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
IN GENERAL:
9548 — amended certain legislative acts of Ukraine to address certain issues of the administrative and territorial structure of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. This will bring the issues of the ARC's structure in line with the main developments in the administrative-territorial reform.
9419-1 — amended certain legislative acts of Ukraine to minimise the potential oligarchic influence on political parties, improve the mechanisms of public funding and state control over the activities of political parties.
9314-d — amended the Criminal and Criminal Procedure Codes of Ukraine regarding the peculiarities of calculating the pre-trial investigation terms under martial law. The law changes the terms of pre-trial investigation to prevent the closure of criminal proceedings during martial law due to the expiration of the terms.
9185 — amended the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine and improved the types of criminal punishment under martial law. In particular, they expanded the possibilities of applying alternatives to deprivation (restriction) of liberty for misdemeanours, and introduced such a type of punishment without isolation from society as probation supervision.
9402 — amended the Customs Code of Ukraine and other laws of Ukraine and introduced a simplified procedure for declaring military equipment and other goods, similar to the international practice.
AS BASIS:
9591 — proposed to amend certain laws of Ukraine regarding the recognition of educational results of persons residing in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
9610 — proposed to amend the Law of Ukraine "On National Minorities (Communities) of Ukraine", in particular, to update the definition of "national minorities (communities)", to provide state guarantees for the free provision of textbooks to students belonging to national minorities, etc.
