Today, on 13 July, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine held a regular plenary session, during which a number of important decisions were made, including:
IN GENERAL:
8392 – provided for the creation of the State Register of Sanctions with public access to information on all subjects subject to personal sanctions.
8185 – regulated the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in law enforcement and counteraction to their illegal use.
9415 – eliminated a legislative gap in the use of state-owned cultural heritage property by national higher education institutions to prevent the potential loss of these properties.
7354 – allowed future drivers to independently acquire knowledge of the theoretical part of the driving licence exam. The law imposes fines on driving school officials for violations of driver training.
9110 – provided for the classification of servicemen with wounds, contusions, injuries or diseases sustained during military service as persons with disabilities as a result of war.
7442 – simplified bankruptcy procedures, in particular, simplifying access to bankruptcy proceedings for business entities that became insolvent due to russian aggression.
FOR THE BASIS:
7457 – proposed to regulate the circulation of plants of the genus cannabis for medical and industrial purposes. The purpose of the document is to ensure that citizens have access to the necessary treatment for serious illnesses, including cancer and PTSD caused by war. It is exclusively about cannabis-based medicines for the treatment of people suffering from chronic pain. It was proposed to provide for increased control by the National Police to approve the issuance of licences for the cultivation and use of plants.
9266 – proposed to introduce electronic agricultural receipts, a new financial instrument for lending to agricultural production, as the lack of affordable loans is one of the limiting factors for the development of agricultural potential in Ukraine.
