«I want to assure everyone: our relations with European partners will be honest and transparent. Otherwise, we will never rebuild our country.» Said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine - Ruslan Stefanchuk, commenting to journalists on the process of reconstruction of Ukraine, which plan was presented in Lugano, Switzerland, at the International Conference on Reconstruction of Ukraine (URC2022).
«How will you fight corruption? This is the question I hear most often from our international partners and journalists.» Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk said.
«The first and foremost thing is trust. The second point is that we have already created the necessary infrastructure to fight corruption. Because we: launched an anti-corruption court; improved the work of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the National Agency on Corruption Prevention; removed the immunity of people's deputies of Ukraine; adopted the Law on Deoligarchization.» The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed.
Ruslan Stefanchuk said that these decisions are a manifestation of political will.«And believe me, if we need to pass dozens more laws, we will do it. And society will support us.» He addad.
«Ukrainians defend European values, so our people will not agree to the level of corruption tolerated in the past!» Ruslan Stefanchuk enphasized.
