"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should adopt the Law on legalizing the method of calculating damages caused to citizens as a result of the invasion of russia," the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, said in a comment to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasized that it is necessary to adopt "one greatly significant Law that allows legalizing the method of calculating damages."
"We have to demonstrate to our colleagues that the damages caused to every Ukrainian due to the destruction of a home or business are calculated in accordance with one of the internationally recognized methods. This is necessary to raise questions about the completeness of compensation and appropriate reparations on the part of the russian federation," noted Ruslan Stefanchuk.
