The authorities must do everything possible to support Ukrainian industry. This was stated by Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov during the visit to the 'Electronmash' Plant in Lviv.
According to Dmytro Razumkov, the draft law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine" On Public Procurement "to Create Preconditions for Sustainable Development and Modernization of Domestic Industry" (No. 3739) is aimed to strengthening competitive opportunities for Ukrainian business.
He noted that this legislative initiative is debatable, and added that MPs have submitted many amendments to the bill.
During the visit to the plant, 150,000 signatures in supporting the draft law on localization were handed to the Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
In turn, he noted that he supports the adoption of this legislative initiative.
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada also stressed that safeguards and international agreements should be taken into account when adopting such legislative acts. At the same time, Dmytro Razumkov noted that in the conditions of a large number of challenges facing the world, in particular the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important to demonstrate economic nationalism - to support Ukrainian business.
