Andrii Parubii promises to immediately file PGO's appeal against judge Chaus to relevant committee

In view of exposure of Kyiv Dniprovskyi District Court judge Mykola Chaus' involvement in corruption, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Andrii Parubii, announced the following:

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is always committed to fighting against corruption. The appeal of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, supported by the Head of the Supreme Court, is a ground to urge the Ukrainian Parliament to consider giving consent to detention and arrest of the judge.

I am at my working place so as soon as the appeal is submitted, I will immediately file it to the relevant committee for respective conclusion required for further examination of the issue at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
