Together with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk paid tribute to the memory of civilians killed by russian invaders during the occupation of the Bucha town community. The state leaders laid candles at the Wall of Remembrance near the Church of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called and All Saints in Bucha.

The country's leaders also took part in the ceremony of raising the State Flag of Ukraine on the mast of the Memorial to the defenders of the Bucha territorial community.

“Two years ago, after the liberation of the city, the world saw the true face of russia. The world saw the crimes, atrocities and cruelty of the aggressor country. And the world saw what kind of enemy Ukraine is facing. And what price the Ukrainian people are paying in their fight for freedom,” said Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk.
