The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine presented the servicemen of the Administration of State Guard of Ukraine with the appropriate awards of the Ukrainian Parliament for their significant personal contribution to the state protection of state authorities and senior officials, courage and selfless actions in the protection of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine expressed his gratitude to the servicemen of the Administration of State Guard of Ukraine and thanked them for their daily service.
“Every day you prove your efficiency, professionalism and readiness for any challenges,” Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasized.
The event was also attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko. “We are sincerely grateful to the Administration of State Guard of Ukraine for the work you do within the Parliament and the entire government quarter. I would also like to thank you for the international work that has been carried out over the past two years – security measures to accompany delegations – and this is also a serious challenge in wartime, which you are coping with,” he said.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Viacheslav Shtuchnyi, thanked the servicemen of the Administration of State Guard of Ukraine for their service and dedication to the state, people and law.
“The Administration of State Guard of Ukraine has been proving its effectiveness and loyalty to the oath for 32 years. And now, when a full-scale invasion is ongoing, the Administration of State Guard of Ukraine ensures the normal functioning of state authorities. Special words of gratitude for ensuring the security of foreign heads of state, parliaments and governments, heads of international organizations who visit Ukraine in such a difficult time, demonstrating support for our country and the Ukrainian people,” he stressed.
