Ruslan Stefanchuk: During these six months of the war, everyone understood that the future of Ukraine lies with the EU

Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the delegation of the United for Ukraine (U4U) network.

«Today is the last day when Ukraine is 30. It is symbolic that exactly 30 representatives of the network "U4U" are in Kyiv today. The support from European parliamentarians is crucial.» Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasized this during the meeting.

He added that Russia planned to split Europe.

«But during these six months of the war, everyone understood that the future of Ukraine lies with the EU. The future of the EU lies with Ukraine.» stressed the Chairman of the Ukrainian parliament.

Ruslan Stefanchuk noted that Ukraine is taking the necessary steps to implement the recommendations of the EU Commission.

«Our goal is to implement all the recommendations by the end of autumn to receive a second "Yes" from the EU. After that at the beginning of the year we will move towards full membership.» Ruslan Stefanchuk noted.

He also expressed his belief that Ukraine is fighting on many fronts at the same time. On the battlefield, our brave soldiers fight for our land, for our country.

«Among the government's tasks is the struggle for Ukraine's European future. The future is with countries with which we have common values.» The Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament concluded.
