The Chaieman of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk spoke about the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine under martial law:


From February 24 to August 17, 2022, the Parliament met 24 times, people's deputies considered 431 issues on the agenda and adopted 234 laws.


During the same period of 2021, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine convened 37 times, during the meetings, 404 agenda items were considered and 138 laws were adopted.


 During the martial law, most of the acts related to national security, tax and customs policy, and law enforcement activities.


And the Parliament sent 15 appeals to the international community.


Similarly, on behalf of the leadership of the Parliament, dozens of appeals have been sent to the parliaments and governments of the countries of the world.


Our country has been at war for almost six months. Challenges – every day. We gain our own experience in this struggle. In particular, at the legislative level.


All this time the Verkhovna Rada is working!
