Ruslan Stefanchuk: The law on the special status of Poles in Ukraine is a mirror document, similar to the support that Ukrainians received in Poland fleeing the war

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk: Among the initiatives adopted by the Parliament today, I would like to draw special attention to the Law on the Special Status of Poles in Ukraine.

This is a mirror document, similar to the support Ukrainians in Poland received while fleeing the war.

Citizens of Poland will be able to stay in Ukraine for 18 months and enjoy all the rights and freedoms, just like Ukrainians.

I had no doubts that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine would support this initiative of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Because Poland has done a lot for us. It opened its borders, homes, and hearts. And Ukraine will never forget this!
