"First of all, we discussed the issues of cultural diplomacy between Ukraine and Estonia because this is a crucial component for such friendly peoples as ours," stressed Oleksandr Kornienko.


In particular, the head of the group for interparliamentary relations with the Republic of Estonia, Arsenii Pushkarenko, noted the purpose of the Ukrainian delegation's visit to Estonia: He also noted that active cooperation between the Ministries of Culture and Information Policy of both countries is underway.


During the meeting, the participant raised the issue of the agreed restoration of the Zhytomyr region in terms of cultural cooperation. The rector of Zhytomyr Polytechnic University said that the consequences of the bombings and strikes in the Zhytomyr region were significant: 77 educational institutions were destroyed. Namely, eight cultural objects – cultural clubs, music schools, and libraries need renovation.


The delegation also discussed the tourist direction of Ukraine's development at the meeting. In particular, the most significant support for Ukraine after the war would be if all citizens of European countries visited Ukraine as tourists. After all, only one Zhytomyr region has up to a hundred interesting cultural, historical, and natural monuments.
