The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk together with the President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Representatives of the Ukrainian Government met with the Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, who visited Kyiv together with the Congress delegation.
"We had the opportunity to thank Nancy Pelosi in person for supporting the Lend-Lease for Ukraine.
I am sincerely grateful to the Speaker of the House of Representatives for the powerful response of the US Congress to the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine," Ruslan Stefanchuk said.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine noted that the United States supports Ukraine not only with military assistance, but also on all other fronts.
"Every decision made in favour of Ukraine is a bullet to the head of the enemy, who threatens democracy and world security today. The main thing is not to stop, because it is important to block the roads of the russian military machine, under the wheels of which lie lost lives of thousands of innocent Ukrainians," said Ruslan Stefanchuk about russia's mass killings in Ukraine, adding that Ukraine is looking forward to an additional USD 33 billion package from the United States, powerful weapons and financial assistance, and also new sanctions against the russian federation.
