Olena Kondratyuk, Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, noted on her Facebook page that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops have mercilessly killed 109 Ukrainian children.
"These unheard of war crimes have brought a lot of unspeakable pain and grief to Ukrainian families," she said.

According to her, a street protest took place today in Lviv that called on the world leaders to be resolute, to make a difference while Russians submerge children into dire inhumane suffering and to finally close the skies over Ukraine! 109 empty prams, where the children used to be ridden by their parents,  were displayed in the city centre. These children will never amuse or entertain their parents, grandparents...

The Vice Speaker is convinced that the world, all UN, EU and NATO member states can still safeguard other children's lives in Ukraine. "We need a closed sky over peaceful cities and humanitarian corridors. We need fighter jets, modern air defence systems - all that will ensure and protect the very right of man and child to life,"- said Elena Kondratyuk and called not to remain silent and tell the truth about the barbaric war crimes of Russian invaders in Ukraine.

"We call for action so that Ukrainian children can live, dream, grow up and make their dreams come true," said the Deputy Speaker of Parliament.
