The Speaker of the Parliament also thanked his Lithuanian friends for the assistance that Ukraine receives from the Lithuanian side.
“We are very grateful for the statements and resolutions you have adopted in support of Ukraine. For us, your clear and unwavering position on Ukraine's path to the EU and NATO is extremely valuable,” the politician stressed.
According to him, frequent recent meetings with delegations from friendly countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland - indicate a high level of awareness of the situation.
In turn, Paulus Saudargas stressed that Lithuania will always be with Ukraine.
“You will always have the support of the EU, NATO, the European Parliament, etc. and you can count on us,” said the Vice Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
