During theх meeting with the Chairman of the Polish Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and EU Affairs Bohdan Klich, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk thanked Poland for its position in support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine noted the clarity and speed of Polish parliamentarians in responding to the difficult situation in Ukraine - the adoption of a resolution to support it financially, and weapons and ammunition, as well as the possibility of rehabilitation of Ukrainian servicemen.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada said that an important area of work this year would be to strengthen the parliamentary track of the Crimea Platform, and called for the participation of friendship groups.
Ruslan Stefanchuk called Poland's position on Ukraine's fate and its future European future extremely valuable. He expressed hope for Poland's support during its chairmanship in the OSCE in 2022 and in the Council of Europe in 2025, as well as support in receiving an invitation to Ukraine for the next NATO Summit in Madrid.
According to him, it is very important now whether the whole civilized world will confirm Ukraine's right "to be on the side of civilized choice." According to him, Ukraine will fight for Ukraine, but it is very important that it is not alone in this battle.
Ruslan Stefanchuk also stressed the need to cooperate more actively with the diaspora.
"This is a powerful force in Ukraine. We know where our largest diasporas are, and they must stand up for Ukraine," Ruslan Stefanchuk said.
Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada stressed that Ukraine is a loyal friend of Poland as Poland is for Ukraine.
