The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is grateful to the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Japan for adopting the resolution in support of Ukraine. This was stated by Deputy Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk.
"I am sincerely grateful to the lower house of the National Diet of Japan, who adopted the Resolution in Support of Ukraine. The Ukrainians and Ukrainian society highly appreciate such a manifestation of Japan's solidarity with the Ukrainian people," said Deputy Speaker Olena Kondratiuk.
The Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada also noted that the parliaments of the world continue to respond to the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the international community due to the military blackmail of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.
In particular, the resolution of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Japan emphasizes that Japan is "seriously concerned and always with the Ukrainian people, who hope for the stability of their country and region."
The resolution underlined Japan's firm position on consistent support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Japanese parliament also urges its government to use all diplomatic resources to reduce tensions in Ukraine and establish peace as soon as possible.
It is noted that Japan supports and cooperates with the international community, including other G7 member countries, to promote democracy in Ukraine and promote peace and stability in the region.
