In the current plenary week, the Verkhovna Rada of
Ukraine must grant permission to units of foreign troops to conduct exercises
in Ukraine, call early local elections in a number of settlements, consider the candidacies of
potential members of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting,
and support the proposals of the President of Ukraine to the laws “On
Administrative Procedure” and “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On
Political Parties in Ukraine’” to improve legal regulation of political
parties. This was announced by
First Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko at the meeting of the Conciliation Council
of the Parliamentary
Factions and Groups.
The First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada invited
parliamentarians to become more actively involved in the working group on the
preparation of comprehensive legislative proposals to amend the laws of Ukraine
in the field of parliamentary law, in particular, the Rules of Procedure of the
Verkhovna Rada.
In addition, Oleksandr Kornienko said that in the
coming days an inter-committee working group will be set up in the Verkhovna
Rada to work out the final version of the bill on amendments to the
Constitution of Ukraine in terms of decentralization.
