“This is a very serious date, because a hundred years is more than an anniversary. These are whole lives. It is a great pleasure for me to be with people today who have saved hundreds of lives and will save even more,” he said.
Dmytro Razumkov thanked the medical staff for their daily work. “A doctor is a profession around the clock. You do not go home, you still worry about how your hospitals work, how your staff lives, how each of your patients recovers,” said the Speaker of the Parliament.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada also thanked the medics for their personal contribution to the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
Dmytro Razumkov wished the employees of the National Cancer Institute new achievements and victories over any challenges.
