Dmytro Razumkov, “The Parliament will finalize the State Budget for 2022 before its approval”

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmytro Razumkov, stated that the Parliament will finalize the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2022 before the voting results. “Increasing the subsistence level by 200 hryvnias, as set out in the draft budget now, is a really insignificant amount. I hope that before the results of the vote on the Budget we will be able to correct this situation as much as possible,” said the Speaker of the Parliament.

At the same time, Dmytro Razumkov noted that the indicators set in the Budget should correspond to real economic parameters.

“We can vote on any Budget indicator, but we need to have the funds to do so. I now absolutely do not justify the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. It is necessary to look at receipts, deficits, on unused resources which are provided for various budgetary programs. We must proceed from the realities that exist today,” said the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
