The judicial system in Ukraine needs to be changed and reformed. This was stated by Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov during the Yalta European Strategy Forum (YES).
“This problem is reflected in all areas. The investor who comes to Ukraine does not have full confidence that tomorrow he will have the same equal rights and conditions without the corruption component as in European countries, the United States or other countries,” said Dmytro Razumkov. That is why positive changes in the courts will not only stimulate investment by international companies in our country, but also increase the level of trust in the judiciary among Ukrainians.’
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada also noted that the Parliament has already adopted a number of bills for the reform of the judiciary. However, such a comprehensive transformation of the industry will take some time and will require the joint work of the different authorities.
