Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov took part in the IX National Prayer Breakfast of Ukraine. He stressed that such events contribute to the search for dialogue both in Ukrainian society and around the world.

"It's a long-standing tradition of uniting people through dialogue. It is on such platforms that we can meet, talk, and most importantly, find common ground in order to move forward. And I hope that dialogue will prevail in Ukrainian society and the world," Dmytro Razumkov said.

According to the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, the National Prayer Breakfast is also a platform where we can discuss the challenges facing Ukraine and the world. One of which is the coronavirus pandemic.

The Speaker of the Parliament called war and terrorism another global challenge. "Ukraine is 30, but we continue to fight for it for almost a quarter of our independence, in the east of our country, regaining our territories and fighting for the fact that Ukrainian Crimea is now temporarily occupied," he added.

According to Dmytro Razumkov, the third global challenge is the economic issue. The Speaker noted that through negotiations and dialogue it is possible to achieve common prosperity, results and economic victories.
