The priorities of the sixth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation will be the adoption of laws that will promote economic growth and combat the Coronavirus pandemic, the adoption of the State Budget for 2022 and judicial reform. Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov stated this during the opening of the sixth session of the Parliament.

During his speech, Dmytro Razumkov noted that the Parliament will work in several directions during this session. One of the main issues will be economic growth, especially in the context of the crisis facing the world due to the Coronavirus pandemic, in particular, the adoption of the necessary legislative initiatives.

According to the Speaker of the Parliament, MPs should focus on combating the consequences of COVID-19. Work in this direction should go at all governmental levels.

In addition, the adoption of the State Budget for 2022 is on the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada. Dmytro Razumkov reminded that the Cabinet of Ministers must submit the relevant draft to the Parliament by September 15, after which the draft budget will be sent to the relevant Committee for processing.

Another issue of the Verkhovna Rada's work will be the reform of the legal system, in particular, the judiciary. Dmytro Razumkov stressed that the law in Ukraine is one for all.
