During the last plenary week of the fifth session, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider a number of bills related to judicial reform. This was stated by Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov.
"This week, two bills related to the activities of the High Council of Justice will be considered - No. 5068 and No. 5069," the Speaker of the Parliament noted.
He added that the draft laws "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Concerning the Procedure for Election (Appointment) to the Positions of Members of the High Council of Justice and Activities of Disciplinary Inspectors of the High Council of Justice" and "On Amendments to Articles 188-32 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses to Establish Liability for Failure to Comply with the Legal Requirements of the Disciplinary Inspector of the High Council of Justice" could take a long time to be considered.
According to Dmytro Razumkov, many legislative initiatives are usually planned for consideration during plenary sessions, but they cannot always be considered in a plenary week.
At the same time, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada added that extraordinary sittings are possible this week. "They can take place on Tuesday and Thursday," he said.
