On the eve of the Day of the Constitution of Ukraine, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov visited the Main Department of the National Guard of Ukraine. He talked to the military and presented awards to National Guard personnel.
The Speaker of the Parliament thanked the military for their service and protection of Ukraine. "The last seven years have been difficult for both the country and its citizens. They are especially difficult for those who defend our state. 
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada thanked the military for their service and protection of Ukraine. "The last seven years have been difficult for both the country and its citizens, especially difficult for those who defend our state. I understand how difficult it was for you to go through all this: to lose your friends, colleagues, subordinates," said Dmytro Razumkov.
The Speaker of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine congratulated the servicepersons on the forthcoming holiday - Constitution Day and wished them to bear the name of the Ukrainian officer of the National Guard of Ukraine with dignity.
He also wished the military health, strength and inspiration. "Always be a winner and move forward in any situation. Let each next step be higher than the previous one," Dmytro Razumkov said.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada and the participants of the event honored the memory of the guardsmen who died near the Parliament building in August 2015. "The guys who gave their lives in peaceful Kyiv, on the Constitution Square, defended the democratic principles and values ??of our country," Dmytro Razumkov stressed.
