The hight quality of education in schools in urban and rural areas should be the same. This was stated by Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov, visiting the International Children's Camp "Artek" in Kyiv region. "Today the camp is located in Kyiv region, not where we used to see it, in the Ukrainian Crimea. But I'm sure it's temporary," he added.
 The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada noted innovative approaches in teaching, the opportunity to conduct research. He also noted that such methods are important to implement in various educational institutions. "We will try to implement the developments of Artek in other schools. Moreover, in fact, most of them are now in online regime of work. And this information can be used in any settlement with good Internet connection," he specified.
At the same time, the Speaker expressed the hope that the situation with COVID-19 would soon stabilize and that pupils would return to their usual school attendance. In his opinion, this format of education is more effective. At the same time, Dmytro Razumkov noted that online lessons will improve the quality of education in rural areas, where there are not always enough teachers and technical means. "There is a need to implement online lessons, to attract more technical opportunities in order to make a balance between village's and the city's schools," he said.
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada got acquainted with the work of the training laboratories of the Innovative Educational Center, took part in the presentation of the cultural and educational project "100 Victories of Ukraine through the eyes of Artek" and talked with representatives of children's self-government and children's communities.
“I am very pleased that such a future is growing in Ukraine: educated, purposeful, deep children and teenagers.  Now they are schoolchildren, and in a few years they will start to realize themselves in various fields.  And we must do everything to make them grow up happy, successful and connect their future with Ukraine," Dmytro Razumkov stressed.
