"We must have a constant high-quality relationship with local authorities, build professional relationships to help people pass the difficult challenges that exist today - this is the economic crisis, and the war, and COVID-19. I am confident that together we will be able to do it," he said.
Dmytro Razumkov noted that decentralization reform is underway in Ukraine, and a significant part of it has already been implemented. He stressed that a large amount of authority and responsibility has been transferred to local authorities.
"There are issues that we, together with the deputies and local authorities, can resolve fairly quickly. There are issues that need a strategic solution, the allocation of funds," added the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada.
He reminded that sitting of the Advisory Council on Local Self-Government will be held in the Parliament on May 11. "We will be able to discuss important issues that need to be considered today and worry people," said Dmytro Razumkov.
