Today marks 35 years since the tragic events at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant. An accident that led to one of the greatest people-made and environmental disasters in human history. This day divided the lives of many people into "before" and "after", leaving a deep imprint in the memory.

The Chornobyl accident affected the lives of several generations and caused irreparable damage. It caused environmental pollution, turning the area around the station into an exclusion zone for many years. The disaster killed thousands of people. But most importantly - the tragedy took away and maimed human innocent lives.

At the same time, the Chornobyl disaster also showed how great human self-sacrifice can be. Despite the danger, thousands of people rushed to eliminate the consequences of the accident: firefighters, doctors, the military, station workers, scientists, builders and others.

Each of us must honor this fearless act and the courage of the liquidators of the accident. The self-sacrifice and courage they showed will never be forgotten and will forever remain in the pages of history.

The Chornobyl disaster is a reminder to all of us how catastrophic the consequences of human error can be. We must always remember the victims of the Chornobyl accident. And do everything possible to ensure that the history never happens again.
