The main task for the authorities is to do everything possible to keep young people in Ukraine. This was statee by Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov during the conversation with educators and students of the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.

He noted that the Parliament makes efforts to keep young people and study in Ukraine. "At the beginning of the year, the Verkhovna Rada established awards for the best participants in external independent evaluation. 30 graduates will be able to receive 100 thousand hryvnias. This is a good incentive to study here," Dmytro Razumkov emphasized.

The Speaker of Parliament also stressed that studying in Ukrainian higher education institutions creates an important foundation. "The knowledge gained in Ukrainian institutes and universities gives the opportunity to have a perception of many processes in society, in various fields," added Dmytro Razumkov.

Separately, he congratulated Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University on raising the ranking of higher education institutions "Top-200 Ukraine". "Your university has made a significant contribution over the past year. To rise from 128th to 22nd place is a rather serious indicator," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada emphasized.

Dmytro Razumkov answered questions from students and educators regarding the prospects for the development of higher education in Ukraine and work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
