President Petro Poroshenko presents Yurii Lutsenko's candidacy for position of prosecutor general of Ukraine

President Petro Poroshenko has presented the candidacy of Yurii Lutsenko for the position of prosecutor general of Ukraine at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The people's deputies agreed to appoint Yurii Lutsenko as the prosecutor general of Ukraine having approved respective Resolution.

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii signed the Resolution adopted by the Parliament at the session hall.

President Petro Poroshenko also signed respective Decree at the session hall.

The newly appointed prosecutor general of Ukraine took oath of a member of the High Justice Council.

Besides, the people's deputies removed Yurii Lutsenko as a Verkhovna Rada deputy in compliance with his respective application having approved the Resolution registered under No. 4659.
