PLENARY WEEK OF THE SIXTH SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION CONCLUDED ON FRIDAY, 2 JULY
In the beginning of the morning plenary meeting, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, briefed on the results of work of The Verkhovna Rada at the plenary meetings on July, 1.
The Chairman announced that People´s Deputy Vitalii Kurylo joined the coalition "Stability and Reforms."

The Chairman gave floor to Prime Minister Mykola Azarov to submit an appeal on dismissal of Viktor Oleksiiovych Boiko from the post of Minister of the Environmental Protection of Ukraine.
The Verkhovna Rada passed the resolution by 258 votes.
Prime Minister Mykola Azarov submitted an appeal on appointment of Mykola Vladyslavovych Zlochevskyi to the post of Minister of the Environmental Protection of Ukraine.
The Verkhovna Rada passed the resolution by 259 votes.
M. Zlochevskyi took the oath of the member of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The People´s Deputies scrutinized five draft resolutions on dismissal of M.Kolos, A.Holovin, P.Tkachuk, M.Markush and V.Ovcharenko from the office of judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
The draft resolutions were rejected.
The Verkhovna Rada dismissed Deputy Prime Minister Volodymyr Semynozhenko on the grounds of appeal of the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Makukha, Deputy Minister of Fuel and Energy, presented the bill on the Principles of the Natural Gas Market Operation.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill as a basis by 306 votes.
Serhii Tereshchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations, presented the bill on Amendments to Clause 20 of the Law "On Land Lease."
The Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill as a basis by 280 votes.
People´s Deputy Yurii Odarchenko presented the bill on Amendments to the Law "On Associations of Co-Owners of Multi-Apartment Houses."
The People´s Deputies adopted the bill in the first reading by 347 votes.
The Verkhovna Rada scrutinized and rejected the bill on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine (re prohibition of pressing on the consumer of the arbitral award and vested right of the consumer to appeal for the protection to the state court).
The bill "On Assessment of Research and Educational Research Personnel of the Highest Qualification" was adopted as a basis.
Uliana Mostipan, Chairperson of the Sub-committee on the Matters of the Pensioners, Veterans and Peoples with Disabilities, briefed on the decision of the Committee to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada adopt the bill "On Amendments to Clause 38 of the Law "On the Social Security of People with Disabilities in Ukraine" (re Priority Service of the People with Disabilities of 1 and 2 Categories).
The bill was adopted as a basis and in its entirety by 303 votes.
The People´s Deputies postponed scrutiny of the bills on amendments to clause 488 of the Civil Code of Ukraine (re elimination of the double norm) and on the state support of the production and consumption of the agrochemicals in Ukraine in connection with the world financial and economic crisis.
In the end of the morning sitting, the parliamentarians read out their appeals, reports and announcements.
