ON FRIDAY, 19 FEBRUARY THE NEXT PLENARY WEEK OF THE SIXTH SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION CONCLUDED.
V. Lytvyn announced on the appeal of Viktor Yanukovych, the People´s Deputies of Ukraine on pre-termed discontinuation of the Deputies authorities.
The appeal of Yanukovych V.F. was upheld by 242 votes.
The Bill on Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine (regarding the nomination of state officials status to educational, medical and academic and teaching staff) was reported by Oleh Zarubinskyi, the People´s Deputy of Ukraine.
The alternative bill on Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine (regarding the broadening of the social guarantees of health protection and educational establishments of the state form of property) was introduced by Yurii Prokopchuk, the People´s Deputy of Ukraine.
Pursuant to Yu. Prokopchuk, the Bill is aimed first of all at the granting of the social guarantees in the part concerning wages, pensions and divergent aids and social guarantees.
Olha Bodnar, the First Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on State Budget and Local Self-Government briefed on the committee decision to recommend the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine direction of the both bills for the further elaboration.
The People´s Deputies in general upheld both Bills though agreed to the conclusion of the profile Committee and also expressed for the direction of the both Bills for the further elaboration.
Ion the result of the scrutiny the Bills failed to receive necessary quantity of votes in favor (correspondingly 163 and 202 votes) and were directed for the elaboration.
The Bill on reversion to the state ownership (nationalization) of the property of the principal branches of the national economics that are in the property of citizens and legal entities was introduced by Petro Symonenko, the People´s Deputies of Ukraine.
In the course of the discussion the People´s Deputies pointed out the attention on the fact that the effective legislation contains the norms on reversion to the state ownership (nationalization) of the property of the principal branches of the national economics that are in the property of citizens and legal entities if the conditions of the privatization are not fulfilled.
The People´s Deputies expressed for the necessity to return the Bill for the further elaboration in order "it possesses the real mechanisms of influence on the situation but not only declarations."
In the result of the scrutiny the Bill was rejected.
In the end of the morning sitting, the People´s Deputies read their appeals, announcements and propositions.
22-26 February the Parliamentarians will be working with the voters.
On Thursday, 25 February, the honoured sitting will be held dedicated administering the oath of newly elected President of Ukraine.
Next plenary meting of the sixth session will be held on Tuesday, 2 March.
