To citizens of Ternopil Oblast
Dear friends!
I sincerely congratulate you on the 75th establishment anniversary of Ternopil Oblast.
During ancient times of the Principality of Galicia–Volhynia, your land was a center of the struggle for spiritual and national self-determination of Ukrainians, assertion of their original traditions. The Ternopil land preserves the never ending memory of its best sons and daughters–the author of national anthem's music Mykhailo Verbytskyi, poet Bohdan Lepkyi, artist Mykhailo Boichuk, composer Vasyl Barvinskyi, leading figure of the world's opera Solomiia Krushelnytska, scientist and biochemist Stepan Hzhytskyi, and many others.
I believe that Ternopil Oblast is proud of its past and does everything for the descendants to be proud of their land that generously treats everyone who loves it.
I am sure that together we will counteract threats to our independence and make Ukraine a powerful European country.
On this significant day, I wish you, dear citizens of Ternopil, happiness, sound health, success, welfare and prosperity.
