To the citizens of Lviv Oblast
Dear friends!
With the feeling of deep respect let me congratulate all of you on a big jubilee – the 75th establishment anniversary of Lviv Oblast.
Lviv Oblast is a treasury of historic and cultural heritage of the Ukrainian State. At all times citizens of Lviv have been glorifying and enriching the native land with their own hands and hearts. They took care of preserving national traditions and restoring Ukrainian spirituality.
Today we are going through a time of great challenges when we have to defend the integrity and unity of our state with weapons in our arms. The citizens of Lviv together with all of our people keep daily persuading the world that Ukrainians are a strong European nation able to decently stand up to encroachment on its independence, as well as protect the values our ancestors were yearning for centuries.
On this big day I have an opportunity to thank the citizens of Oblast for their conscious work and personal contribution of everyone to developing the region and strengthening Ukrainian statehood and sovereignty. I am convinced that we will overcome all the present-day challenges by joint efforts.
May there always be peaceful sky over Ukraine, as well as the good and harmony in the hearts of everyone!
