The bill (Reg. No. 4141a) aims at eliminating legislative gaps with regard to actual administering of independent justice by courts and prevention of any interference in judges’ professional activity.

The bill suggests amending part one of article 34 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Committee members believe that adoption of the bill promote implementation of the independence principle of judicial branch. It will also help prevent any pressure on the judges in the course of their professional activity and secure objective and unbiased examination of circumstances of criminal proceeding.
