The Committee on Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and Persons with Disabilities upholds the bills on regulation the issue of pensions for prisoners who become eligible to retire during the term of imprisonment

In particular, the Committee considered and upheld the draft law to amend several legislative acts of Ukraine re pensions for persons working abroad, members of private farms and working prisoners (Reg. No. 2176) and the draft law to amend article 122 of the Criminal Executive Code of Ukraine (re provision of pensions for condemned to imprisonment) (Reg. No. 2038).

As was stated during the discussion, the named bills suggest regulating the issue of pensions for prisoners who become eligible to retire during the term of imprisonment.
