Members of the Committee considered the respective graft resolutions (Reg. No. 2262 and 2264) and noted that they were committed to adhere the law “On Perpetuation of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.”
The Committee suggests commemorating the 70th anniversary of Ukrainian liberation from fascist invaders on 28 October 2014.
The draft resolution suggests commemorating the 70th anniversary of liberation of the City-Hero Kyiv from Nazi invaders by the Red Army in 2013.
The draft resolution instructs also the Cabinet of Ministers to inform the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine about implementation of the Law " On Perpetuation of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1945" regarding ordering, maintenance and construction of monuments, museums, memorial complexes dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, combating fraud in history, respect for veterans - soldiers-liberators of the Red Army, symbols and insignia of the Great Patriotic War.
