The bill (Reg. No. 2540) suggests refining the system of state support to disabled children from among orphans and children deprived of parental care and taken under guardianship or trusteeship. Particularly, it is suggested not to calculate the amount of state social assistance to disabled children from the general amount of state assistance to orphans and children deprived of parental care and taken under guardianship or trusteeship.
Under the document, in case the child is paid pension, aliments, scholarship or state assistance, the amount of assistance to the child taken under guardianship or trusteeship is calculated as the difference between the two minimum subsistence levels for the child of the respective age and the amount of the predetermined pension, aliments, scholarship or state assistance (apart from state social assistance that is paid to disabled children).
