The Committee on Judicial Policy concluded that the draft law on amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada re placing of text of deputy’s enquiry does not contradict to the Constitution of Ukraine

The bill (Reg. No. 2285) aims at increasing transparency of activity of people’s deputies during implementation of their right on deputy’s enquiry. In particular, it proposes to amend article 55 and supplement article 224 of the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine re giving access to the text of deputy’s enquiry by placing its full text on the official web-site of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in verbatim newsletter.
