The Committee on Economic Policy recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to several laws of Ukraine re determination of prices (tariffs)

The bill (Reg. No. 2107) proposes to specify authorities of the National Commission for State Regulation in the Sphere of Energy in determining prices and tariffs for electric power and natural gas and to determine state collegiate authority as the subject of state regulation of prices and tariffs and their respective authorities.

The bill suggests supplementing article 12 of the Law “On Electric Power Engineering”, the Law “On functioning of natural gas market” and article 15 of the Law "On prices and price formation".
