The Committee on Judicial Policy declared that the bill on amendments to the Law “On Election of the People’s Deputies of Ukraine” (re prohibition to render beneficent material aid during elections) corresponds to the Constitution of Ukraine

The bill (Reg. No. 1080) suggests supplementing article 74 of the current law with the prescription prohibiting charitable activities in the form of rendering material aid to physical entities-citizens of Ukraine during the period from the beginning of the election process to the day of voting.

The Committee believes that the bill corresponds to the Constitution of Ukraine.
