The Parties discussed the issue of developing bilateral relations and prospects of cooperation at the level of committees on foreign affairs.
Mahfudz Siddiq noted that this is his first visit to Ukraine and it aims at deepening bilateral relations in order to support and develop the inter-parliamentary dialogue between the Republic of Indonesia and Ukraine.
Vitaliy Kalyuzhnyi informed members of the parliamentary delegation on the inner political situation in Ukraine; responded to the questions in regard to the prospects of Ukraine’s accession to the European Union; and focused attention on the active work of the Committee over development of the bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation. He stressed the necessity of activating bilateral relations at the economic level.
The Parties have also discussed topical issues of Ukrainian-Indonesian cooperation in different spheres.
