The bill (Reg. No. 1097) expands the right to receive pension for special merits before Ukraine by all persons that were granted personal pensions before 01/01/1992, regardless of whether they were of federal, republican or local significance.
Committee members believe that expediency of the legislative initiative gives raise to no doubt, for it aims at securing equal rights of all personal pensioners.
People’s deputies stressed that according to article 93 of the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada, the bill requires the respective conclusion of the Cabinet of Ministers.
