The Committee on Industrial and Investment Policy recommends that the Parliament should reject the draft law to declare the Law "On stimulation of investment activity in priority sectors of economy in order to create new jobs" invalid

The bill (1226) aims at establishing equal conditions for taxation of all investors.

Committee members stressed that the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat doubts the necessity to declare the Law "On stimulation of investment activity in priority sectors of economy in order to create new jobs" invalid, noting, however, that “the way of stimulating investment activity in priority sectors of economy in order to create new jobs, determined in the abovementioned law, is vulnerable both in conceptual and legal relation”.

Committee members agreed that adoption of the bill is untimely and economically unjustified.
