The bill (Reg. No. 2389) suggests clarify the definition of drink water, the system of standards in this sphere, obligations of drink water supply enterprises, way of settling problems in the sphere of drink water supply, etc in order to refine legislative regulation of drink water supply. A number of laws are to be amended.
It was stressed that the bill was elaborated in order to settle the problem of water supply and water disposal in the city of Uman and Uman region and to attract investment to resolve the abovementioned problem. However, the name of the bill does not correspond to its content.
People’s deputies noted that the suggested amendments cannot influence budgetary figures by increasing the expenditure part of state and local budgets.
