The Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy recommends that Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to article 230 of the Tax Code of Ukraine (re control over spirits and distillery turnover)

At the meeting of the Committee it was stated that the bill (Reg. No. 2403) aims at strengthening control over spirits and distillery turnover and procedure of documentation operations on import/export of spirits and distillery in/out of the territory of excise stores.

In addition, in the proposed amendments to paragraphs 230.16 and 230.18 of Article 230 of the Tax Code of Ukraine it should be clarified that they concern only ethyl alcohol to avoid free interpretation of these rules.
