The bill (Reg. No. 2420) suggests supplementing the list of grounds to dismiss investigative cases with a new one: “to initiate a pre-trial investigation as based on the materials collected during operational investigative activities”.
The respective amendments are to be made to the part one of articles 9-2 of the Law “On Operational Investigative Activity”.
People’s deputies upheld the bill adoption of which shall promote elimination of inner unconformities between the provisions of the law that regulates operational investigative activity, help avoid ambiguous understanding of the norms of the law and strictly adhere to them.
