At the meeting of the Committee it was noted that the draft law (Reg. No. 2240) aims at ensuring independent protection of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and its secretariat, the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, its secretariat, ministries of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Republican Committees of Autonomous Republic of Crimea and other executive bodies of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in Ukraine's courts in cases related to the issues of authorities of these bodies.
According to people’s deputies, the exemption from court fee payment will reduce incomes to specialized fund of the State Budget and, as a result, reduce funding of the judiciary.
