People’s deputy of Ukraine Viktor Pynzenyk stressed the importance of refining tax legislation of Ukraine, for, he believes, current legislation establishes unequal conditions for investors.  

V.Pynzenyk noted that he has referred the bill on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine (re abolition of privileged taxation of investment projects) (Reg. No. 1227) for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.  

According to the people’s deputy, he has also referred the bill on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine (re abolition of the provision on introduction of finance bill of exchange) (Reg. No. 1222). V.Pynzenyk emphasized that adoption of the bill will allow enhance controllability over the budgetary situation and eliminate additional possibilities for the increase of a state debt.

Characterizing the Law “On the Principles of State Language Policy”, people’s deputy Vadym Kolisnichenko noted that this document is designed to consider suggestions of leading international, national and scientific institutions concerning human rights standards. According to the people’s deputy, the law was developed to balance the interests of different language groups of Ukraine, to ensure development and proper functioning of the state language and, whereby, preserve regional languages and languages of national minorities.  

People’s deputy of Ukraine of the VI convocation Ostap Semerak, the 1995-1996 Internship Program graduate, noted that he has initiated amendments to the Budget Code and to the Law “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2011” in regard to using revenues from privatization of the JSC “Uktelekom” for the increase of minimum pension coverage and financing of children’s socio-psychological centers.
