The Committee on Freedom of Speech and Information recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the bill to amend several legislative acts (re prevention of blocking of mass media activities)

The document (Reg. No. 2122) suggests amending the Code of Civil Procedure of Ukraine, the Economic Procedural Code as well as the Code of Administrative Court Procedure and supplementing the Laws “On Television and Radio Broadcasting” and “On Print Media in Ukraine”.

It was noted that adoption of the bill “shall allow for ensuring implementation of constitutional guarantees of freedom of speech as well as proper and free functioning of mass media”.
